Part 17 - Search for the Bikochu Beetle
As Uzumaki Naruto's 'last chance' to go after and find Uchiha Sasuke, he had to first find the Bikochu Beetle, a rare insect that was once often used to find missing-nin or others that had left the village. Because of being widely use, it was now almost extinct, making them very hard to find. Unknown to the Leaf ninja, there were others trying to find a Bikochu as well. Soon after Naruto and Hinata Hyuga managed to catch one, the Kamizuru clan took Hinata hostage in order to obtain the Bikochu. Hinata, desperate to save her team, escaped, and protected her teammates from the killer bees with her new defense jutsu. They all escaped back to the village, unharmed. As soon as they had made it back to the village, Naruto accidentally blew off in front of the beetle before it could catch the scent of Sasuke. This made the Bikochu beetle attracted only to Naruto, which meant that their mission had failed. |
